Experience some of the best fishing in Haines, Alaska.
Come spend the morning or afternoon with us aboard the Seadog trolling for Alaska's greatest catch, the King Salmon. Haines is located on the Lynn Canal which is surrounded with glacier capped peaks and is home to an abundance of marine mammals, birds, and of course fish! We also offer custom full day fishing and wildlife charters.


With over 30 years experience guiding in Alaska, and industry recognition, you area assured the best fishing and wildlife viewing experience in Southeast Alaska. Our guides will share their knowledge of Haines, the local natural history, Alaska native cultures, and help spot wildlife such as Humpback Whales, Stellar Sea-lions, and Bald Eagles.

We encourage first timers to come along and go fishing with us as well as the most experienced anglers to join us for a trip of a life time. Kids go fishing for free!! For every paid adult, any child under the age of 12 can come for free. As long as we meet the 2 person minimum.

All bait, tackle, soft drinks, and snacks are included as well the cleaning and filleting of all our catch.

Not included is a State of Alaska fishing license which can be purchased onboard the Seadog.





Fishing on the Seadog
A 2006 ft Hewescraft with a cabin and marine head can fish 6 comfortably. Powered by a new clean burning, reliable 225 hp 4 stroke Suzuki outboard and a 10 hp trolling motor. Onboard you will find custom fishing rods, downriggers, VHF radio, fishfinder, and GPS.


Also available is a 16 ft skiff with a 40/30 Yamaha jet pump which lends it self to fresh water options and a great open boat fishing experience. This is the perfect vessel for fly fishing and spin casting.

-All 5 species of Pacific Salmon run up the Lynn canal and spawn locally in the Chilkat River, home of the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve.  We can go fishing in Haines, Alaska year round for feeder King Salmon and in the summer Halibut fishing is some of the best in the area.

-7,000 ft peaks, glaciers, and waterfalls surround Haines, Alaska and North America's deepeset fjord which is home to humpback whales, orcas, harbor seals, sealion, porpoise, and on shore moose, bears, and goats.

-Depending on the time of year/season, Haines has world class fly fishing and bait cast fishing for King, Sockeye, Pink, Dog, and Silver Salmon

-Local Fish processing available for smoking/ shipping home
